pahiyas 2011

yes, i'm alive! i haven't posted anything for a year i think. but i have been checking my notifications, commenting here and there. things have been quite busy with school and stuff.

and so! just a quick quick update for my watchers [if any of you are still there].

after months of hard [school] labor, i had but one vacation for this summer. i went to Lucban, Quezon with my brother and his schoolmates to celebrate the Pahiyas Festival.

fyi, pahiyas festival is a time of the year where they decorate their houses with vegetables, fruits, and other stuff they harvest as a way of thanks for good harvest. well, at least that's what i know.

It was my first time attending any festival so i was pretty excited, even if i was going with people i barely knew. the whole experience was fun! i became shaaaaddes darker, lost my wallet, and got stuck on the gutter for a few seconds. fun right? haha. anyway! i want to make a compiled version of my pahiyas trip later on, so that you can have a better idea of the stuff i saw. so this is just a sort of teaser.

i hope to update my gallery more often. but school's almost starting and i'll be even busier than last year. -_____-'
